Her work is included in Griffin Art Projects’ upcoming book, Whose Chinatown: Examining Chinatown Gazes in Art, Archives, and Collections. Amelia Gan is one of the Authors of Reimagining Chinatown: Speculative Fictions from Toronto's Chinatown(s) in 2050, a book that inspired the film Chinatown 2050. She is an architectural designer and researcher from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia whose work lies at the intersection of design tools and building material science. She holds a Master in Design from Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University.
